“Sinneswandel” engages in problem-solving concerning blind and partially sighted people in public space.
The barrier-free app “Sinneswandel” uses GPS and is controlled via voice recognition. The app offers significant help for the visually impaired, facilitating navigation in public as well as social life. The app can be personalized and is thus able to accommodate individual needs.
Users can set an operating range and select the topics and areas they would like to receive information about. Different sounds and patterns of vibration help distinguish the various types of notification. The colors have been chosen in such a way that they provide sufficient contrast for the visually impaired (according to WCAG standard).
Retailers and service providers can distribute their information to customers via the microsite, which is likewise barrier-free, and updated with a few simple clicks. With very little effort, information such as changes in opening times, weekly offers, emergency messages, and staff requirements ads can be spread without barriers.
